Thought
Of The Week: This world’s
future. The paths of this evil
world are wicked and God will punish her wickedness. We have had a deep study
of the book of Revelations and in it we found the future for this wicked
world is not bright. We see a glorious event taking place in chapters 4 &
5, where the Lamb comes forward to open the seven sealed book that reveals
the conclusion to this wicked world, “And I beheld, and, lo, in the midst of
the throne and of the four beasts, and in the midst of the elders, stood a Lamb as it had been slain,
having seven horns and seven eyes, which are the seven Spirits of God sent
forth into all the earth.” Rev. 5:6 (notice He still has the marks of His
crucifixion). As the seals are opened one by one more and more destruction
falls on the wicked people of this world. In chapter 6 we see a White Horse
and he that sits on him is the great deceiver (the Anti-Christ) coming to
conquer the world with peace and in doing so will rule the entire world. He
will make friends to Catholicism and the Ecumenical world and the world
governments until the “Red Horse” comes into the picture. Then we see the Red
Horse (I believe still the Anti-Christ) comes at the conclusion of the first
three and a half years to take that peace and rule by force, that is to
destroy anyone or anything who stands in the way of the Satanic Trinity (the
Dragon, the False Prophet, and the Anti-Christ). At this time no one will be
allowed to worship anyone except the Anti-Christ. Then we see the “Black
Horse” the rider brings famine the “pair of balances” in his hand is to
carefully weigh the commodities because the destruction of the Lord has
destroyed most of the crops. Notice 6:6 “A measure of wheat for a penny, and
three measures of barley for a penny;” in that day a penny was a days wages,
meaning a measure (that is about a quart) will cost about a days wages. This
is because a lot of labors and fields have been destroyed. Then we see the
Pale Horse, he has a name, “And I looked, and behold a pale horse: and his
name that sat on him was Death” 6:8 he will continue the famine of the other
riders and add more destruction to it. The color “Pale” signifies “Green
Death” and his name is Death and that is what he will bring. Not only will he
bring death but “and Hell followed with him.” V.8 in other words these folks
(or a lot of them) will die during this time and all that a waits them is
hell. Let’s remember this is a time that does not include grace and mercy but
rather pain and misery and then hell. This world will pay for her wickedness
against the Lord first by suffering ultimate sufferings here and then eternal
hell. Then at the opening of the seventh seal we see the seven trumpets each
trumpet explains the detail of the seven seals in detail. God will send
destruction such as was never seen before. “hail and
fire mingled with blood, and they were cast upon the earth: and the third
part of trees was burnt up, and all green grass was burnt up”. 8:7 The second trumpet “the third part of the
sea became blood; And the third part of the creatures which were in
the sea, and had life, died; and the third part of the ships were destroyed.”
8:8, 9 This alone will cause much famine then the third trumpet a “star”
which I believe could be a meteor will fall to the earth causing the rivers
and drinking water to turn wormwood that means it becomes very bitter. It
will also cause convulsions, paralysis, and death. This is one third of the
world’s drinking water. The fourth trumpet will affect the solar system. “The
third part of the sun was smitten, and the third part of the moon, and the
third part of the stars; so as the third part of them was darkened, and the
day shone not for a third part of it, and the night likewise.” 8:12 What
heats the earth? This means it will be dark gloomy and very cold day &
night imagine no sun for a third of the day? It will be freezing cold during
this time. Unfortunately space will not allow me to continue but the purpose
in this is to show this God that has great grace and mercy for His children
will one day remove His children from this wicked world and with that removal
will be grace and mercy. God will execute great anger on the people of this
world and destroy them all. The odd thing is this could all start tomorrow
and if you do not know the Lord Jesus Christ as your Saviour you will go
through this time of destruction. A
time when people will beg to die and can not die no matter what. A time when
hail stones up to 120lbs will fall from the sky, and a time when this entire
world is controlled by the Satanic Trinity. Jesus said, “For the wrath
of God is revealed from heaven against all ungodliness and
unrighteousness of men, who hold the
truth in unrighteousness;” Rom. 1:18 and “Much more then, being now
justified by his blood, we shall be
saved from wrath
through him.” |
