How wondrous that he who, as the Son of God, made the angels, should be made inferior to them, and even need and receive their ministering aid and support. O the depths of humiliation to which the blessed Redeemer stooped, carrying down into their lowest point that pure, spotless, holy humanity which he had assumed into union with his divine Person as the Son of God! And let us ever bear carefully in mind that humiliation is not degradation. Our blessed Lord "humbled himself" by a voluntary act of surpassing grace; and it was no more in the power of men or circumstances to debase him of his glory than of lying witnesses to strip him of his innocency. The spotless purity of his sacred humanity, as in union with his divine nature, and as filled with and upheld by the Holy Spirit, preserved it from degradation in its lowest humiliation. The crown of thorns and the purple robe, the mocking knee of the Roman soldier and the taunting scoff of the Jewish priest, though they called forth the grace, did not tarnish the glory of our suffering Lord. His holy obedience to his Father's will in drinking the bitter cup, his meek dignity amid the worst of insults, and his calm resignation to all the weight of suffering which God or man laid upon him, all shone forth the more conspicuously under every attempt to dishonor him.

Today is what in known by some to be the National Holiday for the atheist. The Lord said, "The fool hath said in his heart, [There is] no God. They are corrupt, they have done abominable works, [there is] none that doeth good." Psm 14:1. The word "fool" means stupid; wicked, and is not limited to only an atheist but rather has a broader meaning. The Lord also said, "A fool hath no delight in understanding, but that his heart may discover itself." Pro. 18:2. A fool is also one who seeks out the world’s religion and believes a lie. One who seeks out a lie to satisfy their own heart, rather than one who seeks out the truth of God’s Holy Script.

I come in contact with many people everyday who will believe anything that is not truth. For example, they now claim to have discovered the body of our Lord and Saviour in a tomb and said to have DNA with some of Jesus half brothers family to prove it. Well I have a question, how can they trace the roots of Jesus half brother back 2000 years when most people have trouble tracing their families roots back 100 years? Here is another problem I have with this great discovery, how do they know it is the Lord’s body when it may be a brother of that half brother? I say to all who believe this great discovery, today is your National Holiday. Let’s not forget the Lord also said, "Then if any man shall say unto you, Lo, here [is] Christ, or there; believe [it] not." Matt. 24:23. So only a "fool" would believe it. Speaking of fools, one of the great thinker’s of our time Larry King said, "if this is the body of Christ it would destroy the "Easter Bunny". I would say to Larry King and the other fool who believe this lie, no it is not the "Easter Bunny" they are out to destroy it is Christianity they seek to destroy. They seek to keep us from voting by pointing out the sin’s of the Conservative candidates as they did in the last election, and then seek to keep God out of everything. Do not be fooled by them, they are sinners too. I will say this, do not be fooled by them we are not voting for a Pastor we are voting for political candidates and if we only vote for perfection then we get liberals in office, the very one’s who seek to destroy Christians.

Speaking of fools, for those who watched the "Da Vinci Code" and for those, who believed its contents, let me say, this is also your holiday. First of all, Jesus had no earthly wife and the reason I know this to be a fact is the Lord said, "Let us be glad and rejoice, and give honour to him: for the marriage of the Lamb is come, and his wife hath made herself ready." Rev. 19:7 The Lord Jesus Christ will have the church as His bride in heaven. Here is another fact, Mary Magdalene could never have been the head of the church because Christ is, "For the husband is the head of the wife, even as Christ is the head of the church: and he is the saviour of the body." Eph. 5:23.

Please do not become a fool. Remember there are a lot of people out there who seek to destroy your faith. Satan has many devices at his disposal and will use them all.
